I’m Julián Medina, a physicist engineer who has found his passion in programming and graphic design. I’ve been working with web technologies for more than 4 years and coding for at least 10.
My knowledge in code and graphic design makes it easier for me to develop friendly, elegant, responsive and easy-to-use frontend user interfaces.
I’m also a lover of microcontroller electronics, PCB design, firmware development, and internet of things (IoT).
Having knowledge about firmware and web development makes it easier for me to implement IoT solutions. Coding firmware in low level languages has made me more aware of writing clean code and implement clean architectures in high level languages.

Quiero Ser Digital
03/23 - 09/23
Lead Fullstack Developer and Software Architect
Developed the entire architecture of the application, including a responsive web application frontend and a CMS-driven backend. Webapp: https://www.quieroserdigital.com/
Vertrical
06/21 - 02/23
Fullstack sSr developer
Designed and coded part of the frontend architecture of a new project called Medlify, obtaining, as a result, a beautiful, responsive graphical interface that implements a modern technological stack, a clean architecture, and a minimalist graphic style.
Siigo
11/21 - 03/22
Fullstack sSr developer
Decreased by ~40% the loading times in the application by designing and coding a full working demo for a new frontend architecture proposal. This was achieved by adopting a progressive web app approach, instead of the existing micro-frontend architecture.
Creazion Cloud
02/21 - 09/21
Fullstack / IoT Firmware & Hardware Jr developer
Automated the labor of manually collecting weather data to make crop decisions by developing a way to monitor the climatological variables of many coffee farms in the Colombian territory by designing the hardware and firmware of IoT weather stations that were deployed in different locations.
SENA
05/21 - 06/21
IoT basics teacher
Taught a 40-hour theoretical/practical course about IoT with ESP32/ESP8266 microcontrollers and Node.JS. Thanks to this course, 18 people were certified in IoT Basics by The National Training Service (Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje – SENA), a national public institution, ascribed to the Ministry of Labor of Colombia.
Robot Visual
11/16 - 10/20
Backend / IoT Firmware & Hardware Jr developer
Added a new way to control different states of a projector by developing the hardware and firmware of an IoT circuit to control projector variables through the internet and not only locally as before.
BeTech
11/20 - 05/21
Backend / IoT Firmware & Hardware Jr developer
Developed a way to monitor different non-sensitive variables in hotel rooms, such as temperature, door opening status and light bulb status by designing the hardware and firmware of an IoT circuit that sends in real-time sensor data to AWS Cloud using ESP8266, in order to improve the guest experience.
R+
09/17 - 01/18
Backend Jr developer
Improved user experience by developing a backend part of a game coded in Unity. Thanks to this development it was possible to store and retrieve user logs (highscores and played matches) in a database for different users.Improved user experience by developing a backend part of a game coded in Unity.
